N.E.W. stands for NorthEast Wisconsin. Not new. This is a great family orientated smaller zoo located just outside of Green Bay. The zoo is gradually getting bigger and adding more animals every year. It is by donation only, so that nice. There is a lookout tower you can climb which is nice. I just really like to go here with my wife and check out all the new animals. They also do some nice things at Halloween called Zoo Boo, and also a christmas display.
Great for the young and old enough.

We just had the pleasure of visiting the New Zoo a few weeks ago and can I say WOW again. It is a really great and exciting zoo. I can't wait to go back in December to see the baby girafee's. The zoo offers different events including a Santa dinner for the children and a huge display of Christmas lights. They also offer cross country skiing all winter long for free. If you haven't experienced the New Zoo yet...you need to go there just once, you will fall in love.

Although the Northeast Wisconsin Zoo (NEW) is older, my kids still enjoy vistiting it. It isn't real expensive and they can see some of the animals up closer with out as may other people as if they go to a big town zoo. They are going to be adding a giraffe in the next few years and have done numerous other improvements, I think it is a great inexpensive day of family fun.
